"Drag Race" Alternator Mounting Kit

If you are drag racing your LS1 equipped F-Body and require no accessory drives, this kit is for you. Designed to eliminate excess belt length and tensioners, this kit leaves the alternator in the OE location with a manually adjusted shorter belt. Works with standard diameter or smaller diameter pulleys by simply changing belts. Machined from 6061 T6 aluminum and anodized black for corrosion resistance, all hardware and instructions included. Note: this kit is designed to be used with an electric water pump and no power steering or air conditioning. Designed for use on aluminum blocks only. May be used on early 6.0L truck blocks by drilling and tapping one hole in the face of the block.
AB001 LS1 "Race" Alternator Mount Kit $129.95 ea.

Battery Relocation Mount

Remove weight from the nose of your car and put it where it needs to be - over the rear wheels. This custom battery box mounts to the rear frame rail in place of the OE spare tire. No welding required, all mounting hardware included. Inside dimensions: 10.75"L x 7"W x 7-13/16"H. Available in Black Hammertone or red powdercoat. NOTE: NOT FOR USE WITH WET CELL BATTERIES UNLESS SEALED OFF FROM INTERIOR.

A/C DELETE PANEL

Since race cars don't need air conditioning and deleting the entire system can save almost 100 pounds, this is a no-brainer modification. BMR's A/C delete panel for the Fourth Generation F-Body is an easy solution to the large hole left in the firewall once the A/C has been removed. Made from 1/8" aluminum to keep the product lightweight yet not flexible. Patterned after the OE A/C box and precision laser cut to bolt on using existing mounting holes.
FP003 1993-2002 F-Body A/C Delete Panel $79.95 ea.

Throttlebody Water Bypass Kits

TB001 - LT1 engines

TB002 - LS1 engines

$19.95 free shipping in continental US

GM cars circulate hot coolant through the throttlebody to prevent throttle blade icing in cold climate conditions. While this works great for it's intended purpose, not many of us drive our F-Bodies in the snow much! The cooler and denser the incoming air, the more power the engine can create. This kit allows you to bypass your throttlebody coolant passage to keep your incoming air as cool as possible. Save yourself the hassle of locating the hardware and use this pre-made kit instead. Includes billet aluminum adaptor, hose clamps and rubber dust caps to keep the throttlebody coolant passage clean if converted back later. Please specify LT1 or LS1 when ordering.

Don't use your rusty, factory bolts when upgrading a suspension part. These are all Grade 8 fasteners and all kits come with nylon locknuts. Torque arm bolts are extra long to allow for thicker aftermarket mounting plates.
